How to Integrate X-Click Cart with Expression Engine

The X-Click Cart is a mini php version of the paypal shopping cart. You can customize the look of your cart and keep users on your site without the distractions of Pop-Up windows and such. Let your customers proceed to paypal when they are completely finished adding to their cart.

Step 1. Download the latest version of X-Click Cart. And checkout the ReadMe File. Unzip and rename the folder to "cart" then upload it to your root directory.

Step 2. Open the file named "config.php" in the cart directory and fill in your preferences.

Step 3. The folder named "tpl" in the cart directory is where the templates are kept, just apply your default site styling like you would with the "Member Profile" templates in Expression Engine.

Step 4. Modify the paypal variable in the "Simple Commerce Module" to point to your local "Paypal cart". Locate the "mod.simple_commerce.php" file inside the "system -> modules -> simple_commerce" directory.

Step 5. Give it a test run.
